Yellow is the color of flowers, lemons, and sunshine…fresh in every way! Yellow speaks of friendliness and approachability, warmth and honesty. It is the color of light, hope and encouragement and marks the very beginning of Autumn! We should all bring optimism into our homes with a little to a lot of yellow.
Shabby chic celebrates well-aged interiors but it’s also all about beginning new stories. Mixing pieces you already have and love with new furniture and accessories in pastel palettes - pinks, pale blues, creams and beiges - will give you the "old is new" look of shabby chic!
Dream-like colors give you the romantic, feminine feel of shabby chic. Its a hydrangea palette!
Shhhhhhhhhh.....Top Secret is a multi-yarn texture that packs in a lot of look. A heathered filament yarn, a polyester slub yarn, and a straight spun yarn are woven together on a dimensional heathered warp for tons of texture.
The rich, piece dyed colors of this layered, warp knit velvet pair gracefully with other patterns. Casting an appearance of style and elegance, a modernized configuration of Pinsonic stitch points enhance the subtle complexity of i-Toggle.
An expression of creative influence, Alexa is a colorful print with all the translucency and luminance of watercolor. Playful, with a light and easy feel, Alexa puts a fresh spin on a floral motif.
Figtree is a transitional pattern featuring randomly scattered leaves on a textured ground. The sophisticated color pallet and subtle pattern allow this fabric to work well as a body cloth or supporting correlate for chairs and pillows.
Invite PURPLE in
to join LIME GREEN.
Pairing these two colors creates an exciting balance in a room. I’ve often wondered why that works so well, but then… they ARE complimentary colors on the color wheel. Plus, when I think of #reallygoodthings, I see a lot of green and purple. Key Lime Pie (Green), Blackberry Cobbler (purple), Margaritas (Green), Blackberry Mojitas (Purple), Hydrangeas (Purple & Green), Mardi Gras (Purple and Green)…. Lime Sherbert, Raspberry Tea... the list is rich and long! This color combination is all around us!
"There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is NOT being talked about." Oscar Wilde
As I designer, I believe a room should be so dynamic that it is TALKED ABOUT! So, I insert something STUNNING into my designs when decorating a room!
