- Yellow is an appropriate color for a room used for studying because it has a stimulating effect on the mind.
- Its intensity is also good for stairs and corridors that don't receive natural light!
- Approach yellow as a neutral. Select a yellow wall color with brown undertones, and pair it with a sisal rug.

 | We all know that it’s a bit tricky to decorate a room with orange 👀 because it's such a bold color! It is the color of joy and creativity, and reminds us of wonderful things like sunsets and pumpkins! How do we temper such a strong color in a room? |
This may come as a surprise, but orange is a beautiful color to pair with GRAY, a calm color of efficiency and practicality. Gray is quiet and strong, and balances the warm tones of orange creating a perfect color duo.

Pumpkin Facts!
- Pumpkins are a member of the gourd family, which includes cucumbers, honeydew melons, cantaloupe, watermelons and zucchini. These plants are native to Central America and Mexico, but now grow on six continents.
- The largest pumpkin pie ever baked was in 2005 and weighed 2,020 pounds.
- Pumpkins have been grown in North America for five thousand years. They are indigenous to the western hemisphere.
- Pumpkins are low in calories, fat, and sodium and high in fiber. They are good sources of Vitamin A, Vitamin B, potassium, protein, and iron.
- The heaviest pumpkin weighed 1,810 lb 8 oz and was presented by Chris Stevens at the Stillwater Harvest Fest in Stillwater, Minnesota, in October 2010.
- Pumpkin seeds should be planted between the last week of May and the middle of June. They take between 90 and 120 days to grow and are picked in October when they are bright orange in color. Their seeds can be saved to grow new pumpkins the next year.

Orange can change from contemporary and eccentric to happy and jubilant, to quiet and reflective - with just a few tweaks on the color wheel. It is a GREAT color to add to your room.

YES. Invite PURPLE in to join LIME GREEN. Pairing these two colors creates an exciting balance in a room. I’ve often wondered why that works so well, but then… they ARE complimentary colors on the color wheel. Plus, when I think of #reallygoodthings, I see a lot of green and purple. Key Lime Pie (Green), Blackberry Cobbler (purple), Margaritas (Green), Blackberry Mojitas (Purple), Hydrangeas (Purple & Green), Mardi Gras (Purple and Green)…. Lime Sherbert, Raspberry Tea... the list is rich and long! This color combination is all around us!
